We take the protection of your data seriously. This policy informs you under Art. 13 and 14 GDPR which data we process, for what purpose, and what rights you have. The legally binding version is the German original.

2. Principle
We process as little personal data as possible. This website is served statically and requires no login, no account and no profiling to display. Your data is not transferred to third parties for advertising or profiling purposes.
3. Hosting and delivery
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (44 Montgomery Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA) and delivered via a global content delivery network. When you open the page, your browser transmits technically necessary data to the delivery infrastructure.
- Purpose: delivery of the website, protection against attacks, technical stability.
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and performant delivery).
- Third country: USA. Transfer based on Standard Contractual Clauses under Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR and Netlify's participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
4. Server log files
When you access this website, the hosting infrastructure processes technical information in server logs: truncated IP address, date and time of access, requested URL and HTTP status code, volume of data transferred, browser and operating system (user agent), and the referrer if present. The purpose is operation, error analysis and defence against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Retention is a maximum of 30 days. The data is not combined with other sources.
5. Contact form
If you write to me through the form, I process your name, company, email address, employee count and message solely in order to answer your enquiry. Submissions are transmitted and stored via Netlify Forms on our behalf. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). I delete the data once the enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
6. Cookies
This website sets no cookies and uses no comparable browser storage techniques. Should that change, your consent will be obtained via a consent banner before any non-essential cookies are used.
7. Analytics with Umami
To improve our offering, we measure the use of this website with Umami - privacy-friendly analytics software that we self-host on our own infrastructure (umami.h5.software). No cookies are set and no personal data is collected; no individual recognition and no cross-device tracking take place. Only aggregated, anonymous metrics are recorded, such as pages viewed, approximate origin at country level, browser type and referrer. The data stays with us and is not passed on to third parties. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in cookieless, data-minimising analytics).
